The First Lady of Côte d’Ivoire agreed to sponsor this cultural event on Tuesday November 27, 2018, following an audience she gave to the Magic System group, at the presidential residence, in Abidjan -Cocody.
She said she was “honored” by the choice made about her person.
Traoré Salif alias A’salfo, commissioner general of the said festival and leader of the Zouglou group, first presented the main articulations of the Femua 12 to Mrs. Dominique Ouattara before explaining the reasons that motivated this choice.
Femua 11, which took place from April 17 to 22, 2018, was sponsored by Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly. “African youth and illegal immigration” was the theme of this edition. As for the launch, it took place on Thursday March 15, 2018 in Abidjan.
A succession of artists on the stage of this 11th festival, among others, Soprano (France), Lokua Kanza (Ground floor), Yémi Aladé (Nigeria), Sidiki Diabaté and M’Bouillé Koité (Mali), Zeynab (Benin) …
For the time being, the dates for the launch and launch of the Femua 12 have not yet been communicated.
The 12th edition of the Anoumabo Urban Music Festival to be held in April 2019 will be sponsored by Mrs. Dominique OUATTARA, first lady of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.
Indeed, it received in audience the members of the Magic System group, initiator of the said Festival, on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at the Presidential Residence located at the Riviera Cocody.
Speaking, Mr. Traoré Salif dit A’Salfo, leader of the Ivorian musical quartet and Commissioner general of the said festival presented the main articulations of FEMUA 12 to Mrs. Dominique OUATTARA before requesting his sponsorship after having mentioned the reasons that motivated this choice .
Sponsorship request accepted with joy by the first lady of CI who admitted to being honored by the choice made on her person.
Recall that Mrs. Dominique OUATTARA whose sponsorship will give a particular cachet to this 12th edition, has always supported the social and charitable actions initiated by the four magicians of African music, namely the rehabilitation and equipment of hospitals, orphanages, nurseries, donations to refugees and the construction of several schools offered to the State of Côte d’Ivoire.
Development factor, FEMUA, the 11th edition of which was sponsored by Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly, is a Festival which is positioned as the largest cultural and social event in Côte d’Ivoire, as well as in the sub-region.
